Mercury HealthTech was founded in 2019 by Bryan Schnepf, a business and marketing executive with over 30 years of progressive healthcare technology experience. Bryan is passionate about the industry’s digital transformation and established Mercury HealthTech to help health-tech innovators grow by sharing his knowledge, energy, and expertise. He also conducts industry consultations and collaborates with premier healthcare marketing agencies. Before starting his company, Bryan held numerous global and regional leadership roles with small, mid-sized, and multi-national corporations.
Most recently, Bryan served as Senior Vice President of Growth Marketing at Caregility Corporation, an emerging enterprise telehealth solutions provider targeting larger health systems in the U.S. and across the globe. Bryan was instrumental in positioning Caregility as a top-tier acute virtual care company through a laser focus on brand value, thought leadership, solutions marketing, and experiential marketing. Bryan successfully led a team of marketing professionals firing on all cylinders: communications, demand generation, product positioning, event planning, and strategic alliances.
Before Caregility, Bryan directed solutions marketing efforts for the healthcare vertical at Hyland Software, Inc. He collaborated with executives and colleagues in corporate marketing and product management to refresh the business program's strategic vision and expand Hyland’s brand awareness in the healthcare vertical. Bryan also led product marketing activities for the company's enterprise imaging portfolio, consisting of its Acuo vendor-neutral archive, NilRead universal viewer, PACSgear connectivity suite, and ImageNext intelligent worklist.
Prior to Hyland, Bryan enjoyed more than 18 years with Philips Healthcare, where he accumulated extensive global business experience with medical devices, imaging modalities, healthcare IT, and professional services. He made significant contributions to the groundwork and growth of market-leading Philips brands, including the IntelliSpace clinical informatics portfolio (PACS, VNA, CVIS, AV) and the HealthSuite digital health platform. At Philips, Bryan also honed strong leadership skills while directing teams of upstream and downstream marketing and product management colleagues, cross-functional workgroup collaborations, and influential direct contributor roles on business improvement teams.
Bryan’s healthcare career began at Konica Medical Imaging (now Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas). After successfully pursuing several regional product management roles, Bryan was chosen to take the reins and champion NetStar, the company’s start-up initiative of digital image management solutions. That pivotal position helped build experience with strategic partner alliances, vendor contracting, trademark law, regulatory compliance, and more.
Bryan is fluent in digital health; acute telehealth and virtual care; imaging IT (PACS, VNA, CVIS, enterprise imaging); clinical content management; cloud computing; EHR interoperability; medical devices; and capital equipment. He has comprehensive knowledge of many clinical service lines, including radiology, cardiology, and oncology, as well as bedside care workflows. Bryan is also astutely aware of the industry's shift to value-based accountable care, population health, and patient engagement.
Bryan graduated with honors from the University of Phoenix, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing degree. He also completed coursework in engineering, natural and computer sciences, and business management at Stony Brook University and Pace University in New York.
